Curiosity Console
Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 26, 2026
This page explains what information Curiosity uses and how we protect it.
Scope
This policy covers the Curiosity web app, including accounts, documents, chat threads, and uploaded files.
What We Collect
We collect account details like your name, email, role, and sign-in information. We also store workspace content, including documents, chat messages, summaries, and uploaded files. We keep basic system data, such as activity logs and timestamps, to support security and troubleshooting.
How We Use Data
We use this data to sign users in, control access by role, help teams collaborate, support search and summary features, keep the app secure and reliable, and maintain a clear history of updates and decisions.
AI Processing
Some Curiosity features use AI to help analyze workspace content. For example, when a user asks for a summary, search result, or response suggestion, Curiosity sends the relevant text for that request to an AI service and receives generated output. This may include chat content, sphere content, and related context needed to produce a useful result. AI processing is used only to power these product features and improve workflow speed.
Data Storage And Security
Curiosity is built to keep your data in a controlled environment. Access requires authentication, and permissions are based on user roles. Data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with trusted service providers that help us run Curiosity, such as hosting, authentication, storage, and AI processing services. These providers receive only the data needed to perform their function.
Retention
We keep data while your workspace is active and as needed for security, operations, or legal reasons. Data may be deleted when accounts close or when approved requests are received.
Your Choices
You can ask to update or delete account data, subject to legal or operational requirements. Workspace administrators can also manage team access and permissions.
Policy Changes
If we plan to update this policy, we will contact users before changes are made and ask for feedback. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
